1980s	Co-Founders Alan Djanogly, Tony Forward and Albert Fuss commenced investing in hedge funds
1989	IAM independently established in London
1995	IAM Global Long/Short Equity Strategy Fund launched
1996	Alternative Investment Strategies Ltd launched as the first listed fund of hedge funds on the London Stock Exchange
1999	IAM Research Fund created for ‘rising star’ managers
2003	New York office opened – IAM Research LLC Awarded Hedge Fund Manager of the Year, Global Pensions
2004	Awarded Best Performing Hedge Fund of Funds over 1 year for Alternative Investment Strategies Ltd by Hedge Fund Review
2006	IAM acquired by ABN AMRO Asset Management Awarded Fund of Hedge Funds Institutional Manager of the Year 2006 by Institutional Investor Alternative Investment Strategies Ltd – Successful C-Share issue raised US$160m
2007	Morten Spenner appointed as CEO Alternative Investment Strategies Ltd marked its 10th anniversary with AAA rating from Allenbridge Alternative Investment Strategies Ltd – Successful C-Share issue raised US$198m
2008	IAM re-established independence through a management buy out Stockholm office opened – IAM (UK) Norden Filial
2009	IAM Trading Fund launched end of January IAM celebrates 20th anniversary
2010	Madrid office opened – IAM Ltd, Sucursal en España
